THE END OF VIRGIN POLYESTER

Our goal is to completely replace virgin polyester with recycled polyester by 2024.

RAISING THE BAR

Reducing our environmental impact is an essential priority for us. Polyester is the most-used material in our products because it dries quickly, is super lightweight, and has special properties for sports performance. We can’t make the transition overnight, but we are committing to phasing out the use of virgin polyester entirely over the next years. We started in 2012 at the London Olympic Games, where we outfitted all volunteers with uniforms made from recycled polyester. In 2019, the majority of our soccer jerseys and running shoes are made more consciously. But we intend to do even better. By 2024, we aim to have all of our shoes and clothing made with recycled polyester. We’ll deliver the same style, high performance and durability while significantly reducing the impact on the environment.

CREATING TRACTION THROUGH ACTION

We're continuously challenging ourselves to be bold, think bigger and put action behind our words.
